Ever thought about the way we travel and how we should shake things up? This is your chance to join a Technology Department that is at the forefront of doing exactly that. As our (Backend) Software Engineer, you’ll build on our umob platform, firstly for the Netherlands but soon in Europe, Asia & the US. Your work has a direct impact on the city streets. Hard skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;

• 3-5+ years of experience in a Software Development role;

• Strong (hands-on) experience in software development, systems engineering, and application architecture (our current stack is React.native, .NET, C#);

• Experience with cloud computing (Azure is a plus), databases, CI/CD pipelines & automated testing;

Bonus points for the following experiences:

• FullStack development, DevOps, observability and infrastructure automation.
• Building third-party API integrations and/or SDKS
• Functional programming.
• Building and scaling live products.

Softskills:

• Feels at home in a young, fun, yet entrepreneurial management team in an early startup with big potential;

• Sees building a scalable platform used by a million users worldwide as most exciting challenge, you’re not afraid to build a new wing on a flying plane;

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills. You’re a team player while being independent as the same time;

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

• Familiarity with Agile development methodology;
